Tracy & Blue

Many thanks to Bríd for all her care and help with our Dachshund Blue. He presented with a spinal injury and was paralysed and incontinent when his journey began. He made steady progress week in and week out with Bríd helping and encouraging him every step of the way. His improvement has been remarkable and he is back on his feet now and getting better with each session.
Thank you so much!

Joker & Liz

Joker was a veteran we treated for obesity on our weight loss program. He has now lost 50% and is able to move even run. His owner could not believe how fast the pounds were shedding once he was engaged in the pool. Happy boy Joker!

Bubbles & Aoife

Little bubbles had suffered a horrific near death experience while colliding under the car tyres. His mental state and physical being were at stake. The team at Canine Physio Care spent 9 months rehabilitating him with various programs and methods. A true success story as he is back to his bubbly personality and all muscle tears have been healed. What a trooper!

Milo & John

Corgi mix Milo has had weakness in the lower back as he sustained a rare type of disc issue. Laser therapy, pain managements and systematic hydrotherapy all helped him to move freely and go for walks with his dad. We are so proud of them. He can even fetch his favourite toy now.

Katja & Arrow

"The staff are friendly and take the time to explain all options of the PRECISE TREATMENTS available and their benefits. We are so happy they were able to fix Bobby after his injury!"

Arrow is an ex- police dog in retirement who has worked hard at his job. High drive and never give up attitude has had its toll on his body and joints. Katja contacted us to strengthen his muscles, so they could support the core and his aging hips. We worked with them for many months and made sure pain management was achieved alongside a desired result.

Twix & Emer

Twix is a 7 year old Shiba Inu. He is a Champion show dog and Best in Show Winner. In October 2024, Twix suffered an injury which caused a moderate tear in his cruciate ligament. We chatted with numerous vets, with some suggesting surgery, and some recommending a more unconventional approach to his recovery. We decided to try the less traditional approach and treat him with alternative remedies together with strengthening his muscle through hydrotherapy.

We were aware that this may not be fully effective, however we wanted to give it our best shot in an attempt to prevent having to put him through an invasive surgery which would require an extensive recovery time. After the vet suggested hydrotherapy, with a quick Google search we came across Canine Physio Care. I spoke to Bríd on the phone and felt an immediate connection and empathy from her. I could tell she was incredibly knowledgeable and she seemed hopeful that hydrotherapy would be beneficial so we made an appointment to see how he would get on.

Honestly I can say this was life changing for Twix. Initially, we were unsure if he would cooperate, since Shibas are not a breed that are generally keen on swimming, but thankfully he took to it like a duck to water! He absolutely loves it and now starts barking with excitement when we drive down the driveway to Canine Physio Care. It’s definitely the highlight of his week!

After just 4 months of weekly appointments with Bríd, he was ready for Crufts (the world’s biggest dog show, held in Birmingham in March). He placed 2nd out of 9 in a hotly contested Veteran Male class, beating multi Champions from around the world. Considering he was unable to walk just 16 weeks previously this was an incredible achievement and would never have been possible if it weren’t for his weekly hydrotherapy sessions.

Now, after 6 months of weekly appointments, Twix is back living his normal life, free running for hours on end and showing no signs of lameness. He is now moving better than he ever did in the show ring, something numerous people who have known him since he was a puppy have remarked.

Recently, at an All Breed Championship Show in Dublin, he won the Group and went on to win third Best in Show, (from a total entry of around 850 dogs)!! We owe all of this success to Bríd and her team!

We will continue to bring Twix to his weekly appointments going forward, for maintenance and also since he really loves it so much. I honestly cannot recommend the team at Canine Physio Care highly enough. The facilities are first class, the place is spotlessly clean, and the dogs love it! In Twix’s case, the results have been phenomenal. I can safely say it’s been one of the best decisions we have ever made in relation to our dogs.

Twix and I cannot thank Bríd enough for everything she has done and are excited to keep working together in the future!
